LIST: Locations across the Midlands offering ways to help residents beat the heat

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The City of Columbia is providing a resource to help residents beat the heat as heat indexes rise well into the triple-digits.

The city said misting stations are installed at several local parks at the following locations:

  • Saluda Riverwalk – 650 Candi Ln.
  • Owens Field – 1401 Jim Hamilton Blvd.
  • Martin Luther King Park – 2300 Greene St.
  • Hollywood Rose Hill Park – 216 Gregg St.
  • Rosewood – 901 Holly St.
  • Riverfront South – 312 Laurel St.
  • Riverfront North – 4122 River Dr.
  • Granby Park -100 Catawba St.
  • Southeast Park – 951 Hazelwood Rd.
