COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The City of Columbia is providing a resource to help residents beat the heat as heat indexes rise well into the triple-digits.

The city said misting stations are installed at several local parks at the following locations:
- Saluda Riverwalk – 650 Candi Ln.
- Owens Field – 1401 Jim Hamilton Blvd.
- Martin Luther King Park – 2300 Greene St.
- Hollywood Rose Hill Park – 216 Gregg St.
- Rosewood – 901 Holly St.
- Riverfront South – 312 Laurel St.
- Riverfront North – 4122 River Dr.
- Granby Park -100 Catawba St.
- Southeast Park – 951 Hazelwood Rd.
