LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) – A Lexington County man convicted of murder was sentenced to prison following his trial last week.
The 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office said Tuesday that 50-year-old Mark Scheibler was sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of murder and a weapons charge in the 2021 death of Jimmy “J.J.” Johnson Jr.
Prosecutors said evidence presented during the trial showed Scheibler going to Johnson’s home on the morning of Nov. 27, 2021, after a previous dispute.
