State troopers rescue pig on South Carolina highway

SOUTH CAROLINA (WSPA) – When you see state troopers responding to the scene, you probably expect to see a crash. Troopers in Lexington County had received a call that gave them the chance to save someone’s bacon.

Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol received a call about an animal in the road on Interstate 26, in Chapin. Troopers arrived on scene to find a pig sitting in the median.

After a short chase, Trooper Matthew Bullard managed to safely move the pig off of the road. He said that he grew up on a farm his entire life and grabbing pigs is something he’s used to…
