COLUMBIA, S.C. — One person is recovering after a Friday evening shooting in Columbia.
The Columbia Police Department said the shooting happened 9n the 900 block of Jackson Avenue around 10:20 a.m. Officers were responding to a report of gunfire in the area and found a victim with a gunshot wound.
The person’s injury was not believed to be life-threatening at the time. Police haven’t released additional details on the circumstances of the shooting, an arrest or a possible suspect. However, they said it appears to have been an isolated incident…
