COLUMBIA, S.C. — Over 100 employees in Lexington County are facing job layoffs after ribbon-maker and party and craft goods company announced it is closing its doors.
IG Design Group Americas, Inc and Lion Ribbon Company, LLC, located at 832 Summerland Avenue in Batesburg-Leesville notified South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (SCDEW) that it will be closing the facility “due to business needs” and terminating the employment of all workers at that site. The closure will affect 112 workers.
