A man is dead following a crash on a South Carolina, one of 10 people killed over the holiday weekend, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Around 8 a.m. on Sunday, a man in a 2014 Nissan Versa was traveling east on Bush River Road near Rocky Creek Road, about three miles east of Newberry, Sgt. Tyler Tidwell of the Highway Patrol said. He drove off the road and struck a pole and a sign.
The man, the only occupant of the car, died on the scene. The Newberry County Coroner identified him as Nicolas Phillips, 27, of Kinards, WLTX reported…
