New fentanyl law helps law enforcement crack down on opioid trafficking in SC

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Fentanyl is a leading cause of overdose deaths in South Carolina, and state leaders are supporting the newly signed HALT Fentanyl Law, which they say will reduce Fentanyl traffic across the country.

The motto is simple. One pill can kill. However, consequences can be fatal if drugs are taken without knowing the original source.
