More parents turning their kids in for crimes months after new initiative, sheriff says

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – It’s been almost six months since Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced an initiative to start holding parents accountable for their kids’ alleged crimes.

Now he says the department is getting more calls from parents turning their kids in as suspects.
