GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – Several hundred cases of whooping cough have been reported in the Carolinas this year. Doctors warn that the number could continue to rise.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 8,000 cases of whooping cough have been reported in the U.S. so far in 2025. That’s more than double the number reported at this time last year.
