A jury in South Carolina has convicted Ronnie Legrand Todd Jr., 45, of two counts of murder, leading to a sentence of two life terms in prison for a double homicide that occurred in 2022. The verdict, announced on Monday, August 11, 2025, follows a trial that began a week prior.
According to a press release from the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, Deputy Solicitor Scott Hixson and Senior Assistant Solicitor Dylan Bagnal prosecuted the case against Todd. The jury, after a brief deliberation, found Todd guilty of the shooting deaths of John Ashley Altman and Emily Richitelli. The victims were killed on July 21, 2022, at a townhome on Fraser Street in Georgetown.
