RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities say one person is in the hospital following a Saturday evening shooting reported in Richland County.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said deputies responded to the area of Kay Street and Beatty Road in the St. Andrews community in the late afternoon for reports of a person with a gunshot wound. They found a person with a wound to the lower body who was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The department brought in K-9 units to assist as they continued their search for a suspect in the case. As of 8:30 p.m., deputies were still at the scene and had not yet made an arrest in the case…
