Gas prices down in South Carolina; Columbia also sees slight drop

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Gas prices fell slightly in South Carolina last week, according to new data.

GasBuddy states the average price in the state is at $2.72 per gallon, down nearly three cents from last week. Prices were also slightly down in Columbia, averaging out to $2.75 per gallon as of Monday.

GasBuddy also said the national average price of gas remained unchanged on Monday, staying at $3.09 per gallon. That’s over 4.5 cents cheaper than last month and nearly 28 cents cheaper than this point in 2024…
