SOUTH CAROLINA — Authorities are investigating the death of an Anderson County woman who passed away a week after being injured in a car crash.
According to the Anderson County Coroner’s Office, the crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 at the intersection of McGee Road and North Park Drive. Investigators said one of the passengers, later identified as 83-year-old Susan Wheeler of Anderson, was found unresponsive at the scene.
