GOP Rep. Nancy Mace Cancels Speech In South Carolina After Only 8 People Showed Up Amid Run For Governor

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-South Carolina) cancelled a speech she was set to deliver in her home state after only eight people showed up for it.

Earlier this month, the congresswoman announced that she would run for governor in her home state in 2016. She promised that “God’s not done with South Carolina and neither am I.”

Mace promised to deliver a speech to more than 100 people in Horry County, South Carolina. As a result of the poor turnout, however, she cancelled the speech and instead answered questions from reporters…
