The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) announced yesterday that it has charged 60 year-old Norman Arthur Schuler of Gaston with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.
According to the arrest warrant, Schuler allegedly pursued an unidentified victim in his 2001 Dodge Ram pickup truck after being served with a family court hearing notice on June 26. Schuler then reportedly struck the rear of the victim’s vehicle near the intersection of Cassidy and Blackville Roads in Lexington County and the impact caused the victim’s car to collide with two other vehicles resulting in serious injuries to the victim…
