COLUMBIA, S.C. — A refreshing change is arriving across the Midlands as a cold front moves out of the region, ushering in cooler temperatures, lower humidity, and dry weather for the next several days. The Midlands are in for a pleasant and comfortable stretch of early fall-like weather.
Cooler mornings and comfortable afternoons
Monday morning will start off cooler, with lows dipping to the lower 60s across the region. High temperatures on Monday are expected to only reach the lower 80s, which is significantly cooler than the average high temperature of 88 degrees.

Below-normal temperatures will continue through the week. Some areas in the Midlands could see low temperatures in the upper 50s this week. Thanks to the departing cold front, dew points are also dropping, bringing more comfortable and less humid afternoons.
