COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — The search for Angela Fuller came to a tragic end Thursday evening, as authorities confirmed that human remains discovered in a wooded area in Columbia belong to the 56-year-old mother, sister, and friend who had been missing for nearly a week.
The Richland County Coroner’s Office identified Fuller’s remains early Friday, bringing a devastating close to a case that has gripped the community and left her loved ones searching for answers.
Police activity had intensified earlier in the day near the 100 block of Shakespeare Lane, behind a beauty supply store in a quiet stretch of Columbia.
