Jubilee Festival returns to Columbia to celebrate Black history and culture

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Historic Columbia is inviting the community to downtown Columbia this weekend for the return of the 47th annual Jubilee: Festival of Black History & Culture.

The free, family-friendly celebration will take place on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the historic Mann-Simons Site, 1403 Richland Street. Festivalgoers can expect a day filled with live performances, cultural exploration, food, and hands-on activities for all ages.

This year’s mainstage lineup is headlined by LADY STOUT, with additional performances by Preach Jacobs & The Negro League, Chukk Gregory, the Charles B. Jackson Singers of Brookland Baptist Church, Cr3Wizdom, Sir Chance, and more…
