Cayce Police Chief Earns Doctorate of Criminal Justice

CAYCE, S.C. – The City of Cayce proudly announces that Police Chief Dr. Bruce Wade has achieved a major academic milestone, graduating with a Doctorate of Criminal Justice & Criminology (DCJ) from Keiser University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Friday, September 12.

Chief Wade’s accomplishment adds to his extensive professional credentials, which already include a bachelor’s and master’s degree in criminal justice from Columbia College. His doctoral project, Implementations of Facial Recognition in Policing: A Systematic Literature Review, highlights his dedication to advancing public safety through research-driven innovation.
