A woman was found inside a convenience store eating an ice cream bar and holding a knife after robbing the store at knifepoint, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
Katrina Nicole Diaz, 39, was charged with armed robbery, three counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, after it was alleged that she robbed a convenience store on Edmund Highway Monday, according to a news release.
Store employees told deputies that Diaz walked into the store early Monday and asked to use the store’s phone, the release said. When she was told the phone didn’t work, Diaz attempted to walk out of the store with a display case of lighters…
