A South Carolina Department of Corrections employee was arrested after using her vehicle to ram another car, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
Brittany Larkin, 30, was charged with first degree simple assault following an incident Thursday at the Family Dollar at 2505 Broad River Road, according to a news release. Larkin is accused of using her car to intentionally hit another vehicle in the store’s parking lot.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol initially responded to the scene, believing that a car accident had occurred between Larkin and a male victim.
