Rock Hill drug trafficker sentenced to over 20 years for distributing fentanyl statewide

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — A Rock Hill man has been sentenced to more than 20 years in federal prison for leading a drug trafficking operation that distributed fentanyl across the state.

Sean Demetrius Goins, 54, was sentenced to 245 months after being found responsible for trafficking over 11,000 grams of fentanyl, 495 grams of cocaine, and 29 grams of fentanyl analogue.

He was arrested in May 2023, when federal agents seized four firearms, ammunition, drug presses, two kilogram presses, 1,365 grams of fentanyl, and 494 grams of cocaine. Two of the guns were reported as stolen…
