Two people arrested following drug bust in South Carolina

SOUTH CAROLINA — Two people were arrested last week following a months-long narcotics investigation that led deputies to seize fentanyl and other drugs from a Kershaw residence, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies executed a search warrant on Friday, Sept. 26, at the Gold Mine Highway home of 36-year-old Cory James after investigators conducted two controlled fentanyl purchases at the location.

Inside the residence, deputies seized nearly half an ounce of fentanyl, liquid hydrocodone, and digital scales. Another man found inside the home was not charged…
