$11.17 South Carolina DMV payment leads to Florence man’s arrest on fraud charge

DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Florence man is facing charges after allegedly using a credit card without permission to pay for a transaction on the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles website.

Henry Nicholas Still III, 36, used another person’s Mastercard to pay for a change-of-address on the DMV website portal, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division. The $11.17 transaction took place in Darlington County on June 9.

Still was charged with a third-degree computer crime involving less than $1,000, and financial transaction card fraud valued at less than $500 after DMV officials asked for an investigation…
