Lexington remembers Abraham the camel, community icon

LEXINGTON, S.C. — The Lexington community is mourning the loss of one of its most beloved local icons — Abraham the camel. Known affectionately as the Mountain Dew-drinking camel, Abraham passed away yesterday in Georgia, leaving behind nearly 30 years of smiles, laughter, and cherished memories.

Clifford and Margaret Fisher, who owned Abraham since he was a few months old, reflected on his remarkable life and the joy he brought to others.
