COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — A crash involving retired South Congaree Police Chief Steven Jonas in August has drawn new attention after authorities confirmed toxicology testing was conducted, though the results are unclear.

A newly released toxicology report obtained by WACH FOX shows that Jonas’ blood contained 1.5 μg/mL of a substance, but the specific substance was redacted in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
