One person was killed Sunday night when a moped and car were involved in a crash, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The two-vehicle collision happened at about 8:30 p.m. in Newberry County, said Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway.
Both a moped and a 2010 Honda sedan were driving east on U.S. 76 near the Prosperity area, according to Ridgeway. Near the intersection with Colony Church Road the Honda hit the rear of the moped, causing the bike to spill into the road, Ridgeway said…
