A fun family outing turned into a terrifying ordeal last Saturday when a 19-year-old allegedly entered a Chuck E. Cheese, wielded a gun, and threatened workers and patrons, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
Police say Tavares McFadden-World, 19, entered the children’s entertainment center in Columbia and pointed a firearm at an employee’s head and two other individuals, one of whom he allegedly held against his will. The incident unfolded in front of terrified children and parents.
An anonymous father who was present with his family recounted the trauma to local Fox affiliate WACH, stating, “My kids can’t sleep now,” and describing the “pure fear” in his daughters’ eyes…
