In just a few hours, hundreds of thousands of South Carolinians could lose SNAP benefits

COLUMBIA, S.C. — In just a few hours, more than half a million South Carolinians are expected to stop receiving SNAP benefits due to the ongoing federal government shutdown.

Brandon Jones, who works at Toliver’s Barbershop, says the shutdown hits hard for families like his.
