Three male teenagers have been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in September 2025. One of the individuals charged is 18-year-old Daquan D. Macon. He faces charges of Misprision of a Felony and Accessory After the Fact to Murder. Authorities allege that Macon was present during the incident, did not report the shooting, disposed of the weapon, and helped another suspect leave the scene.
Another suspect, Jalil R. Medlock, is charged with Misprision of a Felony. He is accused of being present and not reporting the crime. The Violent Crimes against Persons Unit is leading the investigation, with support from the CPD Fugitive Team and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
