A well-known convenience store chain is prepping a new location along a busy roadway in Lexington.
Circle K, which has stores across the region and U.S., is bringing a location to the northeast corner of Augusta Highway and Wise Ferry Road. That’s about a mile east of Lexington High School, across the intersection from a CubeSmart Self-Storage facility.
Plans for the Circle K went through Lexington County’s planning commission late last year, and there is a sign at the property that a new location is “coming soon.” An opening date hasn’t been publicly announced, but construction was active and ongoing when a reporter went by on Thursday morning…
