Bonfire shooting sparks warning about unsupervised parties

BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. (WACH) — Authorities in Richland County are still searching for suspects involved in a Halloween night shooting that left three teenagers wounded at a bonfire in Blythewood.

The event, which drew over 500 young people, was promoted through a Snapchat flyer that listed an address and encouraged attendees to “bring your own everything.”
