COLUMBIA, S.C. — A parent has been arrested in connection with a shooting that injured three teenagers during a massive Halloween night party in Blythewood.
During a news conference Wednesday, Richland County Sheriff Lott said investigators have charged 42-year-old Kyle Johnson with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and aggravated breach of peace. The sheriff said Johnson’s son was one of the organizers of the party, which drew an estimated 500 to 800 people, which Lott said were mostly unsupervised teens, and took place on property owned by Johnson.
