Downtown Columbia Residents Gather for Annual Korean Festival Celebrating Culture and Community

On November 1, 2025, Columbia’s downtown Richland Street hosted the annual Korean Festival, organized by the Korean Presbyterian Church. The event attracted residents from across the city. The street was closed to traffic, and tents and attractions were set up for visitors.

The festival included performances such as children’s taekwondo demonstrations, K-pop breakdancing, and traditional Korean drum lines. Families attended the event, with some expressing interest in making it a regular activity. Attendees noted the opportunity to see Asian cultures represented in Columbia.
