SOUTH CAROLINA — Five people were arrested Thursday after officers with the Florence Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit and the Florence County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a home on North Alexander Street.
According to a police department release, fentanyl and marijuana were seized during the search.
The following Florence residents were taken into custody:
- Calvin Waiters-HHunter, 33 – charged with trafficking fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
- Ali’k Jeffery, 29 – charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
- Mary Jones, 32 – charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
- Ambria Brunson, 29 – charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
- Doretha Hayes, 60 – arrested on an active shoplifting warrant issued by the Florence Police Department.
All five suspects were transported to the Florence County Detention Center, where they remain awaiting bond…
