FIRST ALERT: Turning briefly cooler Monday before temperatures warm back up

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Behind a cold front, temperatures will briefly drop back to the 60s Monday to kick off the new workweek.

First Alert Summary

Monday’s forecast will feature plenty of sunshine and near normal temperatures to start the new work week! Highs are expected to peak in the middle to upper 60s in the afternoon, which is a lot closer to average for mid-November.

Another quick warmup is on the way by the middle of the week as a ridge of high pressure builds across the region. High temperatures will be back above normal in the upper 70s to lower 80s with morning lows in the 50s.

Rain chances are forecast to hold off all this week with our area under control of a ridge. As of now, our next best chance of possible showers may arrive next weekend and into the following work week.
