COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Allen University announced Tuesday that the school is set to receive a $1 million gift.
The school said the donation will come via the Seventh Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
“This contribution reflects the longstanding relationship between Allen University and the AME Church, which founded the institution in 1870,” Allen University officials said in a statement. “The gift will support key university priorities that strengthen academic programs, student services, and ongoing institutional development.”…
