COLUMBAI, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – A new report from Seniorly finds more than 75% of adults over 50 in the Carolinas say they are a caregiver.
The report finds both the number of adults providing care and the amount of time spent doing so have increased in the last decade.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit-and-run on Oak Street. According to deputies, the accident happened Saturday at 4:31 p.m. on the 400 block of Oak Street.
Caregivers spend on average about four hours every day providing that care, up from 2.8 hours in 2014. Those numbers are expected to worsen as the aging population grows…
