Law enforcement warns of Blackout Wednesday dangers

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Law enforcement agencies are raising concerns over “Blackout Wednesday,” a growing trend that sees a spike in alcohol-related incidents on the roads the night before Thanksgiving.

Experts believe the trend, also known as “Drinksgiving,” began around 2007.
