COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – On base at Fort Jackson, the annual Thanksgiving meal was served Wednesday afternoon. Staff prepared enough food for 12,000 people, including current soldiers in training, retirees, service members, veterans and their families.
Soldiers marched one by one into one of six dining halls on base at Fort Jackson. Inside that hall, food to feed a whole army.
