(WACH) — A minor earthquake was recorded Friday morning in the Midlands, according to the South Carolina Emergency Management Division.
The magnitude 2.0 quake hit at 9:45 a.m. about 4.6 miles east of Elgin. The epicenter was measured at a depth of 3 kilometers.
The tremor was also located 15.4 miles east-northeast of Dentsville, 18.5 miles east-northeast of Forest Acres, 21.3 miles east-northeast of Columbia, and 23.5 miles east-northeast of West Columbia…
