A trendy grocery store chain has circled an opening date for its newest Midlands store.
Trader Joe’s will open a new market at 275 Harbison Blvd. at 9 a.m. on Dec. 12, according to a Wednesday email from the company. This will be the second Trader Joe’s in the Midlands, following the location at 4516 Forest Drive in Forest Acres near Columbia.
The Harbison Boulevard Trader Joe’s will be right in the heart of perhaps Columbia’s busiest shopping district. It is located in the Harbison Center shopping complex that also includes 2nd & Charles bookstore, Rooms To Go, Mission BBQ and many other businesses.
