LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) – A lawsuit has been filed in court against the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department after a deputy’s actions allegedly caused a detainee to have a partial amputation.
According to the lawsuit, detainee Parris Sutton was housed before his trial at the Lexington County Detention Center when deputies smelled smoke and evacuated Sutton and his two cellmates so they could search the area.
After they found no contraband, Sutton reportedly asked a deputy for toilet paper, but was ignored, so he asked again…
