LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Law enforcement is searching for a man who escaped from the Lincoln Correctional Center in Lincolnton, according to the NC Department of Adult Correction.
Roy Burgess, 42, escaped from the minimum-security prison Sunday afternoon, and is believed to be in the Dallas or Gastonia area of Gaston County. Police believe he may be seeking help from friends and relatives.
