A Dare County judge has sentenced Tiffany Nicole Phillips following her conviction on a misdemeanor death by vehicle charge stemming from a June incident, according to recently filed court records.
A Mercedes SUV, driven by Tiffany Phillips, 35, of Lexington, South Carolina, was traveling west on US 64 when it merged into the eastbound lane to pass traffic and collided head-on with a Toyota SUV, driven by Callie Anna Coltrain Coward, 31, of Ayden, who was traveling east on US 64, per NCSHP officials.
