COLUMBIA, S.C. — A Sumter man was arrested Tuesday night after deputies recovered a stolen vehicle and seized multiple firearms following a brief pursuit, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
Kevin Tirrell McBride, 47, of Broad Street, was taken into custody around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday after a deputy spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen. Authorities said the deputy attempted a traffic stop, activating emergency lights and siren, but the driver failed to comply.
