COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina freshman Alexis Hernandez was counting down the days until Christmas break when she received an unexpected gift Tuesday.
Her father, Daniel Hernandez-Marquez, surprised her at Ridge View High School after being deployed with the Air Force to South Korea for seven and a half months.
