Irmo ‘Christmas Lady’ spreads holiday joy as Salvation Army bell ringer

IRMO, S.C. (WIS) – The familiar sound of a Salvation Army bell rings outside a Kroger in Irmo, but behind that sound is a high-spirited voice that has made Dianne Rogers a local icon.

Rogers, better known as the Christmas Lady or Miss Christmas, has been spreading joy as a Salvation Army bell ringer for over a decade. Her singing and dancing encourage shoppers to join in and donate to the cause.
