LEXINGTON, S.C. (WIS) – When Alzheimer’s disease kept Leroy Taylor from attending his annual retirement reunion, his former coworkers made sure the celebration came to him.
Taylor, a retired lineman with a 40-year career at Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative, is living with Alzheimer’s. His family says many of his memories are fading — but the ones tied to his time working from the bucket of a lineman truck remain strong.
