South Carolina holiday travel coming cheaper with double-digit gas price drop

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — South Carolinians are set to enjoy lower gas prices this week as holiday travel hits its peak across the nation.

Gas prices in the state fell 11.2 cents per gallon this past week and are sitting at an average of $2.46 per gallon Monday morning.

That price point is 26.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and 26.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago…
